Catherine Harmer

Catherine Harmer is a Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience in the Department of Psychiatry at Oxford University, UK. She directs a multidisciplinary team of researchers in the Psychopharmacology and Emotion Research Laboratory.

Catherine was the 2013 recipient of the AE Bennett award from the Society of Biological Psychiatry

Professor Harmer is an elected council member of the British Association for Psychopharmacology, sits on the scientific advisory panel for the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology and serves on the editorial boards for Biological Psychiatry and the Journal of Psychopharmacology. She has been awarded prizes from the British Association for Psychopharmacology and the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and was the 2013 recipient of the AE Bennett award from the Society of Biological Psychiatry.
